For over three decades, Jukka has been at the forefront of guitar craftsmanship, working as a luthier and repairman since 1992. Whether collaborating with music stores or providing custom repairs for musicians and bands, his skill and attention to detail have made him a trusted name in the industry.

Beyond his hands-on work, Jukka has shared his expertise by teaching instrument construction and maintenance at Citizens’ College from 2007 to 2025, passing on his knowledge to future generations of guitar makers.

Throughout his career, Jukka has explored countless guitar designs, researching and perfecting features that enhance both playability and tone. This journey of discovery culminated in the creation of the Katar Popmaster guitar in 1995, a model that combines the very best of what Jukka has learned and refined over the years.
